In a media landscape shaped by AI, chatbots, and rising misinformation, the Wikimedia Foundation sought to clarify its essential role in protecting free and neutral knowledge. While Wikipedia is widely recognized, the Foundation’s broader work within the knowledge ecosystem is less understood.

We developed a brand awareness campaign that positioned human contribution at the center of knowledge production. The visual and narrative system emphasized transparency, collaboration, and collective authorship, reinforcing the idea that knowledge remains a human endeavor.

Messaging reframed the Foundation not simply as a platform host, but as an active steward of open and reliable information in an increasingly automated world.

The campaign strengthened public understanding of the Foundation’s mission and reaffirmed the importance of human stewardship in maintaining accessible and trustworthy knowledge.
